How can I change my secret question answers for my yahoo email?

Yahoo mail wont let me recover my account/change my password even though i know security question answers?

• Im trying to recover my alternate yahoo mail account. I clicked the "forgot password" link and i entered my security question answers, then it brought me to a page where I can change my password. I type in the new password twice, and click "next", and it brings me to the yahoo mail signin page with red marks all over saying "wrong password or username". wtf just happened? i just changed my password, and it says incorrect password? i try to go through the change password process again but it says i have to wait 24 hours. i wait 24 hours and do it again. i answer the security questions, and it brings me to change password page. i type in the new password twice, and click next. it then brings me to yahoo mail sign in page and says "incorrect password". WTF? help please i really need to access this email account

  Go to this link where you are told exactly what to do in case your password doesn't work or you forgot it: https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot/ If all else fails, send a mail describing your problem to [email protected]. Or call Yahoo: 1-408-349-1572 (office hours), explain to a customer service person what happened.
