How do I change my name before the e-mail address in the yahoo mail?

E.g: my name <[email protected]>. The "my account>address/contanct information>edit>change name" doesn't give me the desired result.

that's not the right procedure. you need to go to your yahoo mail. click on the "options" link in the top right hand corner. then click on the "general preferences" link. there should be a "from" text box at the top where you can change your displayed name.
