How can I link my Yahoo mail to my Facebook account?

Problems linking my yahoo account to Facebook?

  • Here's what my problem is...my old account that I had linked to my facebook account was just closed a few minutes. Anyway, I have a new email address, and when I try to link that account it says "Sorry, this account was previously associated with a different Yahoo! account during Log-in to Yahoo! An external account may be associated with only one Yahoo! account (4231000000)". It shows this message even when I had the other account activated but unlinked facebook. Even when I terminated the old yahoo account and click on the icon that says sign in with facebook, it opens up the old yahoo mail like it was never terminated. I hope I'm making sense with all of this, and can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm just trying to get the new account linked and it's becoming a hassle.

    Hi B, If you haven't already done it try going into you account settings on facebook,and unlinking from there You have already deleted the link from the yahoo end, did you sign out and in again If that doesn't do it here is a link to a live tech who may be able to help. http://www.opentechsupport.net/forum/sendmessage.php just click on it to get there "you may have to wait if they are busy" Good luck.
