Whats my incoming and outgoing email server?

Whats a good email server to use besides outlook?

• Im looking for a email server that is freeware that runs in the background all the time and will constantly check for email messages and notify me when one comes. one that works like outlook but that will run in the background all the time. I know there has to be allot out there that will work. thanks

  ure looking for a what's called a 'tsr' for terminate and stay resident, it's running in the background but u don't see it until it requires attention, I don't know any mail programs like that but if u google search u can probably find 1
