Should I set up my yahoo mail on my phone as pop3 or Imap if I would like to only delete emails from my phone?
-
I just set it up under Imap on my cell, and deleted an email on my phone as I sit here at the computer signed in to yahoo to see if the email was deleted from my computer too and it was. I would like to set it up so it just deletes from my phone and not my computer too incase i need that email at a later date. Im using a Sprint Evo. My old phone gave me the option to keep emails on the server in Settings but I dont see it on this phone and dont know what to do.

Answer:
For your purposes, you need to be using POP3. That gives you a completely separate download in each application, and you can do what you want with it, without affecting the copy of your message in any other application.
