What is a good free email service to use and why?

What email service should I use?

  • I mean for professional use (i.e. contact info for jobs/schools/stuff like that) Currently, I have 3 email accounts: a hotmail, a gmail, and a yahoo. I used my current yahoo for a long time, but it got cluttered w/ too much mail, so I changed to a gmail (which I still use every day; it's really good). But I can never give out my gmail account for professional use because my username that I made a couple years ago is extremely childish. I would make another gmail account, but I find it really annoying to have to sign out and then sign in again under a different username. Long story short, can someone give me a good email service that I should use as a professional email? Thanks!

    I have a Yahoo for friendly chats and a Hotmail for private business-related sessions. If I were you I would either: A. Use a Hotmail and set it up for good spam-blocking and personalized private email sessions. B. Make your own website with a personal business email client built in.

This is my advice if you have a few dollars a month to spend. You can purchase a domain, web space, and email for about $4 a month. Find a professional sounding domain name and then you can use anything for the prefix. I have one and use [email protected] for regular mail and [email protected] for business mail. You can have as many as you want. Use a standalone email program and automatically sort into folders depending on the ID. This way you can carry over the email address throughout your life and possibly use it for business. I would never trust a company with a free email address. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
