The problem might be the attachment size. Hotmail has an attachment limit of 10Mb and if you are sending a file over 10Mb large, while the mail server that you use to send from Outlook Express may have a larger limit and will therefore allow you to send, Hotmail may not allow you to receive the attachment. So you may see the file name in Hotmail but it won't actually be there to click on as Hotmail will have disposed of it as it is too large. If this is the problem then a way to get round it is too use a large file sending service like Tonsho. How it works: 1. You write email on their website and upload your files. 2. Once you hit send, they remove the files and put them on their servers 3. Recipient gets email with your original message and a link to download the files. This has the convenience of email but gets round the email attachment limits problem. With Tonsho you can send files up to 5Gb.

You sent multiple copies of your emails to hotmail but these copies won't open, correct? What happens when you try to open them? What file formal are the attachments in? I mean are they .jpg, . jpeg, or .gif - ones that are commonly used. If not, it's possible you have no program to open them us. Do you get a pop-up box that asks you what program you want to use to see your photo, or whatever. I'm sorry but I can't really help you because you didn't mention what the attachments were (photo, email, document, etc.). But I just had an idea though. If you have Outlook Express, check this page to make sure all your settings are correct: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/classic/mailplus/pop/pop-08.html I hope at least a piece of this helps you.
