Is it possible to setup imap with yahoo account?

How do I setup microsoft Outlook 2007 with my Australian Yahoo account (yahoo.com.au)?

  • I see lots of answers to how to setup regular yahoo accounts but none on how to setup yahoo.com.au and am having a problem with setting up mine. I do all the things required for the regular yahoo but then it gets stuck on a "enter your password" loop

    Well, this was easy for me....I simply went to the Australian Yahoo site, called Yahoo 7 and looked for the Australian email help page: http://help.yahoo.com/l/au/yahoo7/mail/ -- if that doesn't do it for you, try: http://help.yahoo.com//l/au/yahoo7/mail/yahoomail/ The two sites at first glance appear to have the same URL as far as what's shown in my response. But they are two separate page, so don't worry. Keep looking around and for other Australian Email Help files. However, I think the two links I've given you should help you. EDIT: I read a response from someone else to a different question and this person said that in Australia, Yahoo Mail is free so ignore what I said about needing to have the Paid version. Still, make sure of that. EDIT-2: Although the Yahoo Answers are merged with several other countries, make sure you still on the UK site.
