  Many web sites use an HTML command called MAILTO:. It is an easy way to handle email since they do not have to design forms and handle the mail themselves. The command transfers to the "default" email program which is normally Outlook Express or Windows Mail on a PC. You have 3 options. 1. It is also needed when using any program or right clicking on a file to directly send email. It is free in the UK, AU, and NZ but in the US you must pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. It is also required when you try to transfer the mail using smtp or pop3 to another online email.
