How to set up Outlook web access?

  • I want to use an app "iMExchange2" for an Iphone that will allow me to sync my Outlook tasks. It requires info on server and domain name. It requires use of "Outlook web access". How do I setup my Yahoo mail plus email with "Outlook web access"? It appears that I may need an Exchange server. I don't see that I have one but am not sure.

  • Answer:

Outlook Web Access is a component of Microsoft Exchange server. If you don't have Exchange you will not be able to use this App.

Hello, maybe you can check these information. 1. Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the Web address of your email. This address is provided by your host provider or the administrators for your corporate email. For most companies, the address is either "exchange.<domain>.com" or "webmail.<domain>.com." When accessed, a window similar to the desktop Outlook version is shown. 2.Type your user name and password to access your email. This is the same user name and password you use to log in to the network. 3.Select the "Secure Machine" option if the machine is secure. If the computer you're using is a private machine at home, select this option. If you are on a public machine, then select "This is a public computer. Don't save my user name and password." 4.Click the "OK" button. This opens a configuration window. 5.Select your language and time zone settings from the list boxes. Click the "OK" button. Your email will open.
