How to set up outlook 2000 with yahoo mail?

Help with Microsoft Outlook? I wanted to set up my Outlook to 'pop' with my Yahoo e-mail..?

  • But, I have discovered that Yahoo doesn't allows this unless it is 'Yahoo Plus'. Is there anyway around this? I am getting a new smartphone and it syncs with Outlook's calendar...so, I was hoping to be able to us it. If there isn't a way to set it up with my Yahoo account. Can I just set up a regular new account? I have never used Outlook so I don't know if you can just set up an e-mail address on it or if it it just used to pop to other accounts...Thank you!!!

it is impossible in to set up yahoo through outlook express. They told that to me when i emailed tech support. I wanted that too so it is just my home page now.
