How do I get emails back to yahoo from outlook?

Why Does Outlook take my emails from my Yahoo inbox...how can I get them back?

  • I bought outlook as a separate program to use with my Yahoo mail. Once installed it would take the emails from my yahoo inbox and put them in to the Outlook inbox but once they were there I couldn't access them from yahoo. I recently uninstalled Microsoft office 2007 and now Outlook is gone as well WITH ALL OF MY YAHOO EMAILS!! Is there any way to get my emails back?

    First you could have had Outlook leave the mail on the server and it would be available both places. There is a choice in the account options. Once downloaded the only way to put them back to to forward them back to the Yahoo address one at a time. That will change the subject and date so it is really not practical. Since you have uninstalled Microsoft Office that deletes the programs. The email files may still exist but you will have to find out what the file is called and where it is located. Maybe someone can help with that. Even with the file it may take Outlook to be able to read it. You should never take unreversible steps before asking for advice. I am surprised you uninstalled a program that cost hundreds of dollars. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪

The answer is unfortunately probably not. You may be able to get some of them back; specifically those that you had only recently downloaded by contacting yahoo custmer support. They may be abel to access them from an archive for you. The reason that they where deleted was basically because you told Yahoo to do so. When you connected via outlook as an external client it would tell yahoo to delete the messages from your in box once they had been downloaded to outlook. This is to prevent you from rereading and redownloading the messages time and time again when you reconnected. One of the selectable options would have been to leave a copy on the server.

in options check the box "leave copy of e-mail on server" or whatever your version says that is equivalent
