What is the outgoing mail server for Yahoo plus on Mac?

Why is Mac Mail not communicating with the yahoo mail server?

  • Mac Mail tells me that the Yahoo POP-server for incoming mail is not responding, check the information in the 'incoming mail field'. If the server still doesn't respond the server might be temporarily down. But I don't think it is temporarily down since I can still open my mail, and if it is down, it is already down for quite a long time wich I find hard to beleve. Can anybody help me setting up my Mac Mail account with my Yahoo.com email adress? Greetz Jan

    Yahoo has upgraded its servers. You will need to make a small change to your Yahoo! Mail Incoming Mail and outgoing mail servers address by adding the word "plus" as below. * Incoming mail server (pop3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com * Outgoing mail server (SMPT) : plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com You need to have yahoo mail plus.
