You will not be able to use the same ID, but you can change it to the U.S. as described below. Go to this site to obtain a yahoo from another country... http://world.yahoo.com/. Yahoo advises to click on the country of your choice and the yahoo homepage will come up..You will still be signed in from your original account. Once on this page click on SIGN OUT...Then click on SIGN UP...once you create your account it will indicate after yahoo.com(....) what country you have signed up for...In the future all you have to do is to use that I.D. and Password to check your emails....good luck
