Apple mail is not sending e-mails from my yahoo account?
-
I am using a MAC Book Pro 7.1 (version 10.6.4.) I set up my yahoo account to be retrieved in Apple mail. I am able to receive messages, but I cannot send e-mails from Apple mail using my yahoo account. The incoming mail server appearing in Apple Mail preferences is: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com The Outcoming mail server appearing in Apple Mail preferences is: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com:casanovacanals There is only one port: 995 (I can only enter one port in Apple Mail preferences) What can I do to be able to send mails?? Thanks

Answer:
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Server Settings > Outgoing Mail Server > ..... (the port # is usually 465, but you can try 587 if that doesn't work). See link below for further help.
