Everytime I try to send a letter through craigslist it always brings up aol how can I change it to yahoo mail?

I always open my yahoo account in another window and sign in. Then copy the address from the craigslist ad and paste in the To: section of the e-mail, and send normally. Also make sure in your settings on yahoo mail that your full name won't show up when you e-mail, unless you don't care. I changed mine to just have my first name.

the second answer, (about opening up a yahoo email window first, signing in, then doing your CL thing) is the best answer, honestly. Why? The first answer is technically correct, (a html link to an email address, such as the ones you're clicking on in craigslist, is going to attempt to Compose a new mail message IN WHATEVER IS YOUR DEFAULT EMAIL PROGRAM. which apparently, is AOL. So you could set your default email program to Yahoo, but the problem remains, unfortunately yahoo is the one that decides when and who can compose a new mail message from your account. and obviously it's going to open up, but do nothing except bring you to a sign in page. (and after you sign in, alas...you will NOT be composing a new mail message. you'll just be sitting there). So honestly I just copy and paste them into yahoo compose. it's the single easiest way to do. but if you really like directly clicking on the email links in CL, then sign into Yahoo in a second internet window, first. (and leave open).
