How do I change how often yahoo checks for mail?

How do I change time intervals of auto checks your Mail Client makes to Yahoo?

• Was advised by Yahoo to change the time intervals to 30 minutes, due to a Yahoo Mail Error Code 5. Don't have a clue how to check this out.

  Make sure you are connected to the Internet. Open Date and Time in Control Panel. Click the Internet Time tab. The Internet Time tab is not available if your computer is a member of a domain. Click Update Now. Notes To open Date and Time, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Date and Time. Internet time synchronization updates your clock on a regular basis. Windows sets synchronization to occur weekly, but if you purchased a computer with Windows XP installed, your computer manufacturer might have set it to occur more often. An Internet time server updates the date set by your computer as well as the time. The Update Now button is not available unless the Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server check box is selected. there is two places you can check your time zone follow the prompt below open yahoo inbox > upper right corner options > next mail options > in the left navigation pane > calendar > under personalisation > general preferences > down the bottom > date & time > Select your country for your time zone here > save changes when you are done. 2nd options > upper above top of this page > click the down arrow next to your name > edit my account > sign in > in the member information section > Select your country for your time zone here > click finish when your done.
