Verizon email sent to Outlook Express by mistake?
-
Hi. Here's what happened: using Verizon's web interface to access/store email, don't use Outlook Express; however, when clicking a mailto: link on a website, Outlook Express opened and downloaded all the messages off the server (from the web portal) to the Outlook Express inbox. The setting under Accounts--Mail--Properties--Advanced-- 'Leave Messages On Server' was unchecked. The check box is now checked, and going forward messages will remain on Verzion's site; however, is there any way to get the messages back to the Verizon website without forwarding the email one-at-a-time?

Answer:
I don't think so - once the email has been downloaded it becomes empty space for the server to use. You'd probably have to right them, hope they stored the message, and could restore them.
