How do I stop OUTLOOK to download all yahoo messages again and again.?
-
Have set up outlook acording to yahoo instructions , leaving copy on yahoo server. Outlook is looping and downloading all yahoo mail again and again, so i get multiple copies of all mail messages. How can I make outlook to recognize that all mail have been downloaded and only download new mail messages.

Answer:
Hello, are you leaving mail on the server? If so, outlook will re-download everything when you make a new profile or use a new pst file. This can also happen after repairing a pst. If there are a lot of messages on the server and the 'check every xx minutes' is set too low, outlook never completes a mail pass before the next one kicks in - this prevents it from marking messages as downloaded.
