How do you work POP3 with hotmail?

Downloaded Explorer 7 and now Hotmail doesn't work with Outlook Express?

  • Was using Explorer 6 with Outlook Express..I have about 4-5 email addresses I get through Outlook Express including my domain emails, Yahoo, Gmail and Optonline...I also use 2 different Hotmail addresses..they all work except the 2 Hotmail addresses..They keep asking for the password which I never changed those settings as well as any other settings. Contacted Hotmail and they gave me textbook answers like misspelled words, etc. Everything worked fine on Explorer 6....my wife downloaded Explorer 7 on her laptop when it first was introduced to the public 6 months ago...she's got the same problem...Hotmail won't work through Outlook Express with Explorer 7...any ideas out there?

  • Answer:

    Go to the Microsoft site, and look up outlook and hotmail. You will have to download a connector. I just did this last week. You will be able to use it after you connect them.
