How do I get my BT mail in Outlook express?

Linking Bt Yahoo Mail to Outlook Express?

  • At present I get Yahoo mail from Btinternet. How can I receive the mail in Outlook Express which is more civilised than simple Yahoo mail. Can someone tell me step by step how to set it up?

    I can get BT mail on Outlook In Outlook pick tools then Accounts click on Add Insert your name etc. In the servers part put, pop3.btinternet.com smtp.btinternet.com your e-mail address your password continue on as per other accounts you put in. At least give it a shot. Edit back here if it works or not.

In order to use a separate email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird, with Yahoo Mail you need to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. When you do you can set the incoming server to pop.mail.yahoo.com and the outgoing server to smtp.mail.yahoo.com. As an alternative there is an add on called YPOPS that you can download and try. ✩
