How do you work POP3 with hotmail?

POP3, IMAP, hotmail, gmail, confussed much.?

• So Im really new to hotmail, and ive been wondering about how to contact people through craisglist from their email. When i click their link it sends me to a hotmail service, so i decided to try and set up a hotmail on windows mail from my gmail account but it never sends. What i want to know first is if im able to just send the email to the craigslist email from my gmail and have no problem getting an email back from them? Second if that doesnt work i would need some more info on how to set up a pop3 email on windows mail, or maybe some other program, from my gmail; if thats even possible. Much help would be appreciated :).

  Copy and paste the address or use Windows Live Mail. Very easy to set your Hotmail up to use Windows Live Mail. Go into your all programs menu, find Windows Live Mail, click it to open, follow the few simple steps then when you click an e-mail link anywhere, it will open a new e-mail.
