I read my boss's emails.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003- Read Emails??

  • Where are my read emails going? If I read an email and then close Outlook, when I reopen it, all my read emails are gone. They're not in the Deleted folder (which I manually empty). I've checked every other folder. I've checked my options. This does not happen to the others who use Outlook on this same computer (but in different profiles). Can someone tell me where my emails are going or what I can do to keep them from leaving my Inbox?

**I just found this, across the top click Organize then "using views" and see if it says Unread Messages. If so change it to Messages. One thing you might check is your auto archive settings. Click Tools > Options > Other tab and check the setting under Auto Archive. Also have you checked your "Rules" under Tools > Rules Wizard? If you are flat out just losing all of your emails, you might delete and re-create your email account in Outlook. It should have different properties when re-created.
