How to setup yahoo mail in outlook 2010?

Configuring YPOPS with UK Yahoo Mail?

  • Hello, I have Windows 7 & have recently downloaded ypops-win-0.9.7.3.exe to access my UK Yahoo emails but for whatever reason it isn't working??? I have configured YPOPS main features to read:- NETWORK Bind on I.P. address: 127.0.0.1 SMTP enabled: Port 25 MISCELLANEOUS Yahoo domain: Yahoo.com User agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; windows NT 5.0) Enable UIDL: BOX TICKED My Outlook 2010 is setup as:- User name: (MY NAME) E-mail address: (MY EMAIL ADDRESS IN FULL INCLUDING "yahoo.co.uk" Account type: POP3 Incoming mail server: localhost Outgoing mail server: SMTP User name: FIRST PART OF MY EMAIL ADDRESS, EXCLUDING. @yahoo.co.uk Password: MY PASSWORD Remember password: BOX TICKED & “S.P.A.” BOX TICKED MORE SETTINGS - Outgoing server My outgoing server SMTP requires authentification Use same settings as my incoming mail server So given the information there, I feel that I have correctly configured everything correctly, though can I use YPOPS with a Yahoo UK account, i.e. @yahoo.co.uk ???     You don't need Ypops for UK Yahoo Mail because it isn't like the US version where POP3 access is denied those who don't pay for Yahoo Mail Plus.
