How to set up an email account in outlook 2003?

Yahoo Plus Mail POP with Outlook 2003 on Vista? PLEASE!?

I have a Yahoo Mail Plus account I've had for years, and just purchased a new computer with Vista. I've tried to add my Yahoo account to Outlook 2003. 1. My Inbox downloads a lot of my email from two-three years ago all the way up to 1 year ago. It will not download anything current or anything new even if that new mail had not yet been checked. 2. Outlook will not download the mail into the corresponding mail folders I have set up in Yahoo. 3. All of my sent mail that it does download is downloading to my inbox. 4. I cannot sent an email or even send the test email. I have followed every instruction exactly on the internet on how to 'POP my mail'. Any ideas how to resolve this? I'm so frustrated.
Answer:

Try increasing your mail server timeouts. Do you get stuck on the same message if you try more than once? Maybe there is a message with a large attachment that is causing you the problem?
