How do I get Browser's tab unique id?

Recently a pop-up tab keep asking for UID/PW to access email & keeps rejecting my input. can i get around this

• am using Windows Mail (vista) not outlook. Something happened to my configuration because I never have to do this before. I tried restarting my laptop hoping that this will solve the problem but no luck. The pop-up tab says Windows Security and the message says: "please confirm user ID and password to access server". My DSL is provided by Earthlink and my domain/email is with ATT.Yahoo. Is there any way to get around this Tab or at least a way to change the UID/PW?

  I have never used Vista before, so I may be wrong but it sounds to me like this is a Windows problem not an email problem. I would first try disabling the Vista security, to see if that resolves the issue. If it does resolve the issue, then when you decide to renable the vista security, that dialog box will need to be filled with your windows user ID and password. If that doesn't work I would contact earthlink. I assumed that you tried to input your email ID and password in the box when it first appeared.
