My Yahoo! account doesn't exist, but I still receive Yahoo! Group e-mails?
-
I need to edit a different, older, Yahoo!(R) account, as at the alternate e-mail address I receive hundred of a large groups every posting per day, but cannot sign in to change the account settings to Yahoo! because the Account/user ID no longer exists.

Answer:
If you deleted your account or Yahoo deleted it because of prolonged inactivity on that account, then there is no way to sign in and edit the preferences again. You just have to block the e-mail addresses of those Yahoo! Groups and mark them as a Spam. Or you can try to e-mail the Group Moderators and ask them to remove the deleted account name from their mailing list.
