How do I get my addresses back from outlook express?

How to delete list of addresses on e-mail soto forward w/o? Not on Outlook Express...?

• ...justusing Internet Explorer? I don't use Outlook Express as I always get "SMTP not found" so I just use Internet Explorer and use "Compose" instead of clicking Reply. I have dial-up and use Win XP. A friend sends me e-mail that I would love to forward to others without all the addresses she leaves on 'em. Backspace doesn't clear them. Delete has no effect. Anybody know how to clean these up so I can forward just the body of the e-mail w/o the whole history of previous receivers??

  When you want to send that email to a friend, or more than one person, click on the forward button, then you can highlight the addresses that you want to delete, then hit the delete button. Another way is to click forward, then put your curser at the end of the names you want to delete, and use backspace button, that will also delete the other names. When you send an email to "anyone", always put their names in the BCC column, then the people that you are sending the email to, will not see any of the other names that you sent the email to. The only name they will see is yours, because it will say who sent the email. Just remember to first hit the forward button, then erase the other names. There still is another way to do it, is highlight the body of the email, then click on new mail, and paste it into a new email, then just add the names you want to send it to. Remember to always put the names into the BCC column of the email. That's also a good practice, in case your email gets hi-jacked by a spammer, they will not see anyone's address, so that they could spam them. I hope one of these methods will work for you. I always just press forward first, then I delete the names that I do not want the email to go to, and put the new names into the BCC line. I hope this will help you, Good Luck!!
