How to set up Windows7 Live /e-mail account?

I recently purchased a new desktop computer. I'm used to using Outlook Express. I know Windows 7 calls it Windows Live . I would like to know how to set up an e-mail account in Windows Live.

You need to open the Windows Live Mail from the ‘Start Menu’ of the system. You need to then select the ‘Mail’ option located in the left pane of Windows Live Mail. A new window will be opened in which you need to select the ‘Accounts’ tab, and click ‘E-mail’. You need to then enter your login details in desired columns. These include the e mail address, password, display name, etc. You need to then select the ‘Add another e-mail account’ and get more accounts added in it.

Well, I have Microsoft Outlook and Windows Live...but for Windows Live, you'll need to go to http://www.live.com and sign-up for an account. Then download Windows Live Essentials. That will act like Outlook does on your desktop. http://www.explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials Link will take u to the site where you download it. once you download it, open the program windows live mail and "Add Account" and just type in your live email and password and it will auto-detect the POP settings and your done.
