I'm looking for an email provider that will allow me to alter the "from" field in outlook...?
-
reason being my company provides an email address but not an email "server". So when my clients write me an email my company simply forwards it to an email address of my choosing which is just fine for "receiving" emails.. however, when I want to reply the email address shows "from" a different email address which is confusing. Until recently, I have been using Comcast email and they allow me to setup MS outlook so I can change the "from" field to make it match my company email. However, I had to cancel Comcast so Comcast took away my email address! AOL does not allow you to change the from field in outlook and I can't get Yahoo to do that either. ... so my question is..... Does anyone know an email provider (other than Comcast) that will allow me to change the "from" heading in MS Outlook??? Thanks!!

Answer:
Any provider, you can change the name that recipients "see" when receiving an E-Mail, you can do this within the providers server under your profile while logged in to your mail account online. And you can also change it within the settings of your account in Outlook. So you could have 2 different names, one if you sent it through Outlook and one when sending through your account online (ie Internet Explorer) Handy if you want friends to see one name and work based clients another. Another thing is you can do the same with a signature, one in Outlook and one when logged in on the web, very handy
