How to merge the yahoo mail to outlook?

Is it possible to set up Yahoo mail such that when I click "Mail" from Yahoo, it opens Outlook 2007?

• I would like to use Outlook 2007 as my email program, and not Yahoo Mail. I have Yahoo set up as my email account in Outlook, but I will only see latest emails in Outlook if I have previously opened Yahoo Mail from the mail icon in My Yahoo opening page in my browser (Firefox). I would prefer to open Outlook, complete with all my emails, every time I read my mail from my browser, and not see Yahoo Mail. At present I have to go to the Outlook icon on my desktop to open it.
