Is the Yahoo Microsoft Deal going to work?

How to log on to my yahoo account via Microsoft Outlook 2007?

  • I got a free yahoo e-mail the other day and I have Microsoft Outlook 2007 installed on my computer. When I go to add a new account I type in all my info and then it says it's logging on to the server and then it says it's going to send me a test message. When it gets to that part a window asking for my account info with my user name and password already entered pops up, I press ok and then after a second, it comes back up as if the info is wrong. It's the same info as I use to log onto my internet account which obviously works, and I tried it with and without "yahoo.com" after my user name. I then bypassed that step and created the account but when I send/receive, it does the same thing and won't let me log on. My old windows live mail account works fine on it. It still won't work, anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

  • Answer:

You need a paid Yahoo Plus account in order to use a client to read your e-mail from Yahoo. 19.99 a year. http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/enhancements/mailplus
