Why can't I pop my Yahoo email I do not have mail plus?

Can you check two yahoo email accounts at once - using the My Yahoo essentials POP mail preview module?

• I have two email accounts with Yahoo and want to check them both without having to open up two browser pages. You can add a module on the home page to check pop email. Setup the account using pop.mail.yahoo.com but it won't work / also tried to check my Qwest account with pop.dnvr.qwest.net - both on port 995 (whatever that means) Have also attempted to add email address on Yahoo email page but it won't take the information to receive emails on the second account. So........having done all this two key questions - can it be done without 2 browser pages / one one Yahoo email page and if not will upgrading to the premium service allow me to do this....THANKS!!!!!!

• Answer:

  two yahoo email accounts cannot be opened simultaneously on "Mail". if you are logged in on one account and you will log in on another account, the first one that is logged in will be inactive and will be automatically logged off. that is the recent setting of yahoo, not like years before wherein you can open both or more than two accounts at the same time for Mail.
