How can I recover a deleted folder?

How can I recover a Hard Deleted Email folder from Outlook Express?

  • I've found plenty of info on how to recover deleted emails within a folder, but what the heck do you do if you had a folder existing outside of the inbox and hard deleted the entire folder (without it ever going to the deleted items folder)? This is a nightmare! Someone please help!

The folder *may* be in your computer recycle bin but I do not hold much hope. You are out of luck. :( As an after thought, do a search of your hard drive for the name of the folder. It's an outside chance, but worth the five minutes.
