Windows mail will receive but will not SEND?

Iam using windows mail. i can receive yahoo pop mails, but i cannot send. i need an help please?

IAM USING VISTA ORIGINAL WITH WINDOWS MAIL., I HAVE POP3 EMAIL WITH YAHOO, I CAN RECEIVE THE EMAILS, BUT CANNOT SEND OUT FROM WINDOWS MAIL. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME OUT ON THIS?>?>?
