How can I change my "default" email program to Yahoo?

How do I change my default E mail setting from Outlook Express to Yahoo mail?

I have Windows XP on my PC. My outlook express no longer works, since I did system restore, so I want to change my default email program to Yahoo. Otherwise, when I try to send a photo or document by email, Outlook Express always comes up but doesn't work.

Download the replacement for the obsolete Outlook Express, which is Windows Live Mail. http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mail?os=other or an independent replacement called Mozilla Thunderbird. http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/ 3. Send from your Yahoo email account without using a default email program. In Yahoo, FIRST click New to start a new email message, THEN click Attach, and the documents folder will open up so you can find and add the photo or document you wish to send.
