How to access a second account on Outlook?

How can I access all of my outlook emails on a yahoo account?

  • I have an outlook and a yahoo account under the same address but I can only see my Outlook emails when I'm on the main computer, I can't see them from my laptop or another computer. ?

    Outlook downloads your emails from the mail server and effectively removes them from the server and stores them on your machine. Webmail such as Yahoo just looks at the server. You can change the sttings in outlook to leave a copy on the server and only remove it from the server when you delete it in outlook. Each time that you send/receive it "synchronises" outlook and your web mail. This of course will work for future mails but not retrospectively. To do it retrospectively you would need to change your outlook settings as above and resend all the emails that you want to see on yahoo to yourself but then you would have duplicates on your PC. Oh what a nightmare.

You don't have two identical accounts. One may be [email protected] while the other is probably similar in being [email protected]. You can set up Yahoo to retrieve pop accounts e-mail but you can't access e-mail that has already been delivered to your inbox on your personal computer because they now reside on your computer. There are settings in Outlook that will allow you to leave messages on the server which would then allow you to see them with Yahoo but at the same time you would eventually, how fast depends on how much e-mail you get daily, fill up your limit of e-mail storage on your provider e-mail account. You can access your pop account by going to Mail options under account settings but I believe you need to upgrade your Yahoo mail account to the Plus account to be able to check your other accounts.
