Are windows mail and live mail the same thing?

I have Yahoo POP3 Mail but don't have a Yahoo Mail Plus account?

Hi, I discovered that my Yahoo account is POP3 enabled. I currently use it with my Windows Live Mail client and it works perfectly. The thing is that I don't own a Yahoo Mail Plus account. I never paid for any extra services from Yahoo. So I'm asking if such a thing is possible. I also have another Yahoo account that does not have this service enabled. Does anybody else have a similar "problem"?

You are the 2nd user to have reported this "free" Mail Plus. No one knows why it is happening. You are correct that you are supposed to pay $19.99 for the service.

i did want to use yahoo as my pop3, but after they changed the mail system.. i am so glad i didn't follow thru.. yahoo mail is no longer user friendly
