Why does my yahoo account send my emails threw outlook express?

    If your yahoo account has selected outlook express for sending emails, then you are using outlook express to send the emails, not the original web based yahoo-mail account. You need to type in www.yahoomail.com in the address bar of any browser & hit enter. When the particular page opens, login with your password & username. You will see your inbox then. On the right pane there will be a option called COMPOSE MAIL. Clicking on it, starts composing a new mail. Type in the recipients, subject & matter & click send. That's it. You now send an email without the help of Outlook Express.

The only way an email can go to Outlook Express is if an account is set up there. Yahoo mail in the U.S. requires a plus account to be able to use Outlook Express therefore I assume you are using a different account as your primary account.
