How to configure Gmail account on microsoft outlook which access internet through proxy server?

  • I can able to configure gmail account where there's a direct internet acceess e.g. on proxy server of my office but can't with the same procedure if i do at my pc which use internet through that JANA proxy server.Kindly help me to solve the same

  • Answer:

    I couldn't do it either, I followed all the instructions, and even emailed gmail help, who said as far as they could tell it was working fine. Finally I solved it by forwarding gmail to another account and having Outlook use that account.
