How can you find the incoming mail server?

ISP said to check Yahoo Support for "incoming mail server"; how do I find that server's name?

  • My ISP was able to give me the name of the outgoing mail server but I was told to get with Yahoo Support to find out the name of my incoming mail server. I need this because when I try to send an e-mail to a company with Outlook Express, it asks me those questions and as yet, I don't know how to answer so I'm stuck. I realize that this is probably pretty basic stuff but I'm not a tech person and need some help with this.

  • Answer:

I didnt really understand your Question but if you ment for Yahoo they are as follows. The outgoing mail server for yahoo is [smtp.yahoo.mail.uk] And the incoming mail server is [pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk] **Please note that the ending of the yahoo mail servers depends on your email address eg .co.uk ,.com , .au But lately i was having some problems was receiving some error but it worked well for me for over 6months. If yu need any more help just holla back
