How to set up outlook express email address?

  • Just had a new pc Windows xp and now need to set Email address for outlook express,does anyone know how its done? and do you know if i can use my previous Email address as i had on my old pc? i already have one Email address from my internet provider but have always used two,one was outlook express,so any tips to do this and set it up,thank-you for any help its appreciated.

    You are confusing email addresses and email programs. A program such as Outlook Express can handle POP3 and IMAP email accounts. Usually the one provided by an internet provider is POP3. Gmail also has free POP3. Yahoo requires that you pay $19.99 a year to get it. ʎəɿʞɹɐq  ̊ ͜͡● ̊

There's no such thing as an outlook express email address. You set up an email address in your outlook express email program. If your email address is by Yahoo, it needs to be the PAID version - Yahoo Mail Plus. Other providers such as Gmail allow this feature FREE of cost. To set up, click Tools > Accounts > Mail > Add Mail > follow prompts in set-up wizard to complete the process.
