Auto forward sent emails from yahoo to outlook?
-
Hi, is is possible to auto forward emails I send from yahoo to my outlook email account? That is, from any PC and not just from the PC which has the outlook account?
-
Answer:
Your Outlook is downloading all the incoming mails from your Yahoo webmail, but it won't upload anything from Outlook back to the webmail Yahoo. Nor will it do anything with the "Sent" mail. This is typical of a POP3 configuration. You need to change to IMAP to achieve what you're asking. Use these settings in Outlook instead: * Incoming Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com * Outgoing Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com * Incoming Port - 993 (requires SSL) * Outgoing Port - 465 (requires SSL/TLS) * Username: full email address (for example, [email protected] or [email protected]) * Password: the password you login to Yahoo! with.
