Can I have my mail forwarded from one yahoo account to another automatically?

If I have multiple yahoo email accounts, must I upgrade each one to Yahoo mail plus?

  • I am trying to connect my yahoo accounts to Outlook 2007. I understand that I have to upgrade to yahoo mail plus to do it. So my question is if I have two current email addresses one is for my personal use and another for my church do I need upgrade them both, paying $40 a year. Or do I upgrade my personal account and then have the church one forwarded and this will only cost me $20 a year. Also can I create more emails if need be and will the emails being forwarded, from whichever email account, be separated into folders by email account within either Outlook, which is what I would like, or Yahoo mail account. Please help me if there are additional options.

  • Answer:

You don't need to upgrade to the plus account. To create another account in addition to your current one, launch Outlook 2007 first. Go to Tools > Account Settings. Under the Email tab, click on New. When prompted for your incoming and outgoing server addresses, look under your mail settings. To do this, go to Options (top right hand corner) > More options > POP & Forwarding > Set up and edit POP & Forwarding > View POP Settings. Voila! There are your POP3 and SMTP server addresses. Copy them accordingly into the text fields under Server Information. After finishing, click on Send & Receive and you should have all of your mails from both accounts downloaded into your Outlook 2007.

You would have to upgrade both. Reason is that the free mail account does not have a forwarding option, so you wont be able to forward the emails to the Mail Plus account. If you wish to have POP3 access for both accounts, you will need to upgrade both accounts.
