What is my incoming mail HTTP server?

What does it means POP3,IMAP,HTTP,incoming mail server and HTTP outgoing server.?

• im learning about email,and windows live messenger I register twice and now have two windows one says windows messenger and the other says windows live messenger.how can i fix it.the mssenger e-mail address i'm using is [email protected] and also have this yahoo mail for a long time.

  POP3 is a type of mail server. Where your emails are stored before you receive them. Incoming & outgoing servers are specific to the email provider you are using...whether it be a free service like Hotmail or Yahoo mail or from your internet provider. You can use your mail servers to have your emails forwarded from one account to another if you choose. Windows Messenger usually comes pre-installed on all computer's running Windows. It's kind of like the generic version of their instant messenger. I've never used it. Windows Live Messenger is the newest version of MSN's instant messenger.
