What is incoming and outgoing mail servers for Ymail?

I am a mail plus user. I upgraded to the new Yahoo Mail beta. I can no longer receive messages into Outlook.?

  • I double checked my settings using http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/mailplus/pop/pop-30.html;_ylt=Ap6pL8HFqRAfJ.7XP9T1KzFfPnpG and they are correct. Help please. Do I still use the "plus" part of the address for the incoming and outgoing servers? Have the port addresses changed (I'm using 995 and 465)? Help please.

  • Answer:

    Turn off SSL and use 110 for the pop server. Yahoo will fix the SSL socket someday. Who knows when.

Ditto. All online info says the setup is the same. Since I can find nothing on the internet about a change, I suspect they are having a problem due to the new mail. I plan to just use webmail for a couple of days and see if it sorts itself out.

Same problem here. Been down since yesterday around 4PM CDT. I am using Outlook 2010 on Windows 7. Definitly a Yahoo issue as it is the same on all my PCs running different POP3 clients. I wish Yahoo would hurry up and fix this issue. It is causing all types of problems.
