How to get my incoming yMail server?

Ymail and pop? Can ymail download to an email application?

• Does anyone know how to get ymail email to download to your computer email application using pop or imap? What are the settings? If ymail has no pop server, why would I stay with yahoo? and not find an email that does download onto the hardrive? It makes no sense to create an email that's only accessible online? Thanks for your advice.

  it depends upon the region whether they have free pop access. Yes you can download yahoo mails to different mail application. The settings would be. Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com -Use SSL, port: 995 Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com - Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication Account Name/Username: [email protected] Email address: [email protected] Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password But before doing this, u need to activate it. In order to activate it open ur yahoo mail, then on right hand side on top u will find option click on that and then pop forwading and activate it. Hope this helps...
