Trying to setup Outlook 2000 to recieve my Yahoo Mail?
-
I selected pop3 and set pop.mail.yahoo.com as incoming and smtp.mail.yahoo.com as outgoing, I set the Account Name/Login Name without the yahoo.ca at the end, I typed in my email address correctly. When I test the account I get this..... Establish network connection - Completed Find outgoing mail server (SMTP) - Completed Find incoming mail server (POP3) - Completed Log onto incoming mail server (POP3) - Failed Send test e-mail message - Failed Any ideas? real ideas please

Answer:
Ok, I just did the same thing you did and got the same exact results... the reason I got them is that I do not have Yahoo!Mail Plus but the free version of Yahoo! email (pop access is no longer free). Without knowing more than what you've stated above, I'm guessing this is your problem! Hope this helped!
