How can I set up an "away message" in Yahoo mail?

How can i set my yahoo mail account to send automatic reply message to incoming mails as i will be away?

    I assume you use Yahoo email so this answer is geared for that. On your yahoo email page at the top there should be an OPTIONS you can click on. Then from the drop down list, click on MAIL OPTIONS. Under the "Management" list, click on VACATION RESPONSE. Click the box that says ENABLE AUTO RESPONSE DURING YOUR VACATION. Choose the appropriate dates and fill in a message you want to be sent if you so choose. Hope this helps and have a great time!

Go to Options > Vacation Response. This will send a reply automatically to any message received to your inbox. Beware about its use, though, because it does not distinguish between emails from your contacts and spam messages. EVERY mail that lands in the inbox will get a reply. If it replies to spam, it could cause a vast increase in the amount of spam you get in the future.
