How to access my e-mail?

Yahoo's New email page does not work. How can I access my email?

  • I just changed to the New Yahoo email set up (no choice) and now I cannot access my business email account which is also hosted by yahoo and which I could access by switching email accounts. NOTHING IS WORKING on the new email page and I am getting very anxious - and SEE NO WAY TO CONTACT YAHOO. All I can think to do when if I ever get access to my email again - is to archive it and then move everything away from Yahoo. This will not stand.

    IT WOULD BE BEST TO GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION OF YAHOO! MAIL... To go back to YAHOO! MAIL CLASSIC... Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes". If you don't know how to turn off Javascript... For SAFARI: Open SETTINGS>click PREFERENCES>>click SECURITY>>Uncheck ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT IMPORTANT:Remember to RE-ENABLE JAVA and JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For IE: Open TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS >> SECURITY. In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option. IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back. That's strange.. why not try in another computer? Or you could use another account (hotmail, gmail)

I have had the same problem and, yes, Yahoo do not seem to want to answer it. I also know that some of mly e-mails have gone to the 'old' mailbox and some to the new one. What a pain! What was wrong with Classic e-mail,anyway? Ellen
